View All Team MembersI’m Sarah Risser. I’m 13 years old and I’m home schooled. I am part of a co-op where I go to school once a week with a lot of kids. This year I will be taking some high school classes so it could be a tough year.
I’m in the 8th grade and I’m the youngest of three. I have two older brothers, Aaron and Luke.
I became a christian when I was 5, in Lesotho, which is in Southern Africa.
When we moved here to Nampa, Idaho I had a rough first year. And I felt as if Satan was trying to tear us apart as a family and me individually. It was tough to adjust to living in America after growing up in Africa. So I started to listen to good Christian music and pray often and that’s how things turned around for me. God has taught me a lot. But I still have a lot to learn
A verse I live by is Luke 9: 24-25 which says, “If you try to hang on to your life you will lose it, but if you give up your life for My sake you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but you yourself are destroyed.
I love people. That’s my personality. But I can be very shy.
Oh, and I love horses. That is Dusty in the picture with me.
