Details about me:

I am a wife and mother. Jim and I have been married for 34 years. I have a daughter, Natalie and son-in-law Daniel Morse who live in Corvallis where he is finishing school. I work at Hewlett-Packard in Boise as a Business Analyst in Consumer Support.

What is your God-story or testimony?

I grew up in a Christian home, but did not make a firm decision to follow Christ until my early teens. My life has had it’s ups and downs, but having Christ in my life has made a major comfort and difference through those times.

A verse, quote, or thought you tend to “live” by.

God knows everything about me … and still loves me! What a friend to have. Psalm 139

What your family/friends say about you?

Hopefully they say I’m enjoyable to be around! They also frequently request that I bring dessert when coming to a family potluck. (I like to cook.)

What are things about you that most people don’t know?

Most people don’t know that I attended Biola for one year and at that time had thought I would pursue a degree in physical education. After that one year I headed to Pasadena College (my parent’s alma mater). The college moved to San Diego my senior year, becoming Point Loma College. Was in the first graduating class there, graduating in the amphitheater with a double BA, as a Business major and Business Education major.

Personality?

At work and “out and about” I can be extroverted, but am typically an introvert.

Have you lived in any unusual places?

My husband, daughter and I lived in Alaska for 13 years. We had a wonderful church family and made some great memories. What a beautiful place!

Favorite thing to do with your free time?

I love to do jigsaw puzzles. Also enjoy looking into ancestry and family genealogy. I have inherited quite a bit of research from others and want to add to that and then pass it on to an interested family member.
